    Civil War Re-Enactment Weekend

    10:00 AM-4:00 PM
    28th July 2018

The oldest re-enactment society, the Sealed Knot, is coming back to Thirlestane Castle to bring to life the history of Scotland’s involvement in the Civil Wars. They will be delving into what it was like in the 17th Century for both the military and ordinary people.

Soldiers, muskets, pikes and drums in drill displays, life on the living history camp and a skirmish will be all part of the weekend. An education and an experience not to be missed.

Tickets are now on sale at www.borderevents.com or by telephoning 01750 725480. Tickets can also be purchased on the day.
