Scotish Borders Heritage Festival and Forum Regional Meetings

    2:00 PM-4:00 PM
    20th November 2017

Scottish Borders Heritage Festival and Forum Meetings

Scottish Borders Heritage Festival has grown year on year by providing a platform for local organisations to promote their sites and events during Scottish Archaeology Month (SAM) which is held each September. The festival brings together a wide range of partners who share a passion for the regions heritage from volunteer organisations to government agencies. Our 9th annual festival (SBHF17) saw a huge increase in visitor numbers and site participation and we hope to continue the success story in 2018. We would like to invite anyone with an interest in next year’s festival including: historic houses, heritage sites, national and regional agencies and societies, reenactors, historians, theatre groups, musicians, artists, local community groups and anyone who would like to host an event or get involved in next September’s celebrations.                                                                                                                             Meetings are being held in Peebles, Melrose, Eyemouth and Selkirk and will include a brief presentation on SBHF17 and an open discussion.
